“I promise this will be the most inspirational 30 minutes you can have during this Covid season,” according to Will Garner, head of the Peachtree City warehouse operation that donates food an an industrial scale to charities all over the nation.

“If you’ve never been to Midwest Food Bank, or haven’t been in a while, now is a great opportunity to see the magnitude of goodness that is happening right here in our community,” Garner said.

“Golf Cart tour right thru the middle of the food bank. Drive yours or drive one of ours. Fun, Family Friendly, safe & socially distanced, interactive fundraising event. Take a walk inside our new 10-degrees-below zero freezer. The improvement is the first phase of our Impacting Our Community campaign. With this increased cold storage capacity, Midwest Food Bank will accept, store, and distribute more nutritious produce, dairy, and meat donations.

“After your tour, you could purchase some good food from a couple of our favorite food trucks. We’ll have tables and chairs for you, or take it to go,” Garner said.

3 Opportunities to cart thru:

Friday Evening 5-7 p.m. – The Mad Greek

Saturday Morning 9-11 a.m. – Blue Donkey Coffee

Saturday Evening 5-7 p.m. – Big Papi’s Big Cuban
