Valedictorians, salutatorians for Fayette County’s Class of 2023 named

Fayette County Public Schools will soon celebrate graduation, and the Class of 2023 valedictorians and salutatorians for the five county high schools will be at the head of the class on May 26.

Fayette County High’s valedictorian is Sameeha Lalani. Lalani will attend Georgia Tech and major in biology. Fayette County High’s salutatorian is Emaan Shariff. Shariff will attend Georgia Tech and major in computer science.

McIntosh’s valedictorian is Marc van Zyl. Van Zyl will attend Georgia Tech and major in computer science. McIntosh’s salutatorian is Aadhav Sundar. Sundar will attend Georgia Tech and major in biomedical engineering.

Sandy Creek’s valedictorian is Emma Mineva. Mineva will attend the University of Georgia and major in international affairs and linguistics. Sandy Creek’s salutatorian is Alvaro Molina, Molina will attend Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages in Taiwan before attending Stanford University to major in civil and environmental engineering.

Starr’s Mill’s valedictorian is Titoluwa Alofe. Alofe will attend Harvard University. Starr’s Mill’s salutatorian is Cassidy Scoggins. Scoggins will attend the University of Georgia and major in elementary education.

Whitewater’s valedictorian is Andrew Graddy. Graddy will attend Auburn University and major in mechanical engineering. Whitewater’s salutatorian is Makayla Coffield. Coffield will attend Georgia Tech and major in biomedical engineering. [Story provided by the Fayette County School System.]
