Peachtree City police have made an arrest in connection with two recent armed robberies over the past four months.

According to a statement, law enforcement officers from both Peachtree City and Fayetteville executed a search warrant at a Fayetteville residence in the early morning hours of Oct. 24. The investigation involves armed robberies at the Circle K gas station on Crosstown Drive in July as well as this month. A number of items of evidence were seized including the rifle, clothing and backpack seen in surveillance video from the store.

Kaden Lowry, 21, of Fayetteville was arrested and taken to Fayette County Jail. He is facing two counts of armed robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

The arrest was the culmination of an extensive investigation by the Peachtree City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and assistance from several local establishments and residents that provided surveillance video upon request, according to a department spokesman. Police reported that more than a dozen local establishments and residents provided surveillance footage that helped track down the suspect.
