Whitewater High wins at DECA regions

Whitewater High DECA went to the region competition and racked up wins.

Students finishing in the top two in their respective competitions qualify for the state competition. A total of 7 Wildcats qualified for state.

Garrison Rider won for Quick Serve Restaurant Management, Lincoln Lane won for Principles of Marketing, Naomi Martin won for Food Marketing, Zac Golubeff won for Personal Financial Literacy Event, and Veronica Santos won for Apparel & Accessories Marketing.

Umu King finished 2nd in Marketing Communications and Zaire Brown finished 2nd in Business Services Marketing.

Jyothika Stephen, Owen Quick, Bella Kirchner, Justtus Williams, Paxton Benoit, Anna Daniel, Jayci Bond, Broecks Moses, and Fiffy Findo also competed at regions.

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
