Bloom Our Youth, a local nonprofit serving foster children, has recently hired Gina Licwinko as the director of operations. The organization created this new role to manage the day-to-day operations of The Bloom Closet and to help execute its vision of reaching every foster child in Georgia through its programs.

Licwinko brings more than 15 years of experience in sales and multi-site operations. She joins Bloom from her most recent role as regional director of operations for Principal Senior Living Group, where she worked in senior living and healthcare for over a decade.

“Bloom is thrilled to add such a talented individual to our team,” said Becky Davenport, CEO of Bloom. “Gina’s strategic leadership skills and impressive track record make her an excellent fit for this position. We are eager to leverage her experience and skill set to further our mission and support the needs of the children we serve.”

Licwinko holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida. She is certified in Jack Canfield’s Success Principles program, which empowers others to reach their potential, and is passionate about personal and professional development.

“I am honored to be entrusted with this new and important role for Bloom and excited to work with the dedicated team at The Bloom Closet,” said Licwinko. “Last year, Bloom was able to serve approximately 6,800 out of the 11,000 children in foster care in Georgia. Our goal is to help all foster children in Georgia by expanding our current programs and opening a satellite location. I look forward to contributing to Bloom’s overall success and leading this team into the next phase of growth.”
