‘Cookies with a Cop’ builds bonds over books

‘Cookies with a Cop’ brought the Fayetteville Police Department back to visit their friends at Fayetteville Elementary for a good book and a sweet treat.

The program brings local law enforcement into 2nd grade classrooms, where officers with the Fayetteville Police Department read books, ask thought provoking questions, and eat cookies with the students. It’s all designed to encourage the Tiger Cubs to build positive relationships with law enforcement.
