There are few experiences more thrilling than exploring Georgia’s rich outdoors.

And for many of those experiencing mental and physical disabilities, this would not have been a possibility until the creation of All Terrain Georgia.

All Terrain Georgia provides motorized all-terrain wheelchairs for free rentals at multiple parks throughout the state. All Terrain Georgia is an initiative of the Aimee Copeland Foundation in partnership with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.

Members from All Terrain Georgia will speak at a panel discussion at the Dads Who Care group on Thursday, April 25 beginning at 6 p.m. at Line Creek Brewery Bus Barn in Fayetteville.

Dads Who Care is a support group for fathers who have children with special needs and is supported by Southside Support Inc.,

“So many times parents who have children with special needs get into a rut of activities they can do with their child due to their impairments. ATG  opens up new paths where individuals with special needs can enrich their lives through new experiences,” said Mark Wallace Maguire, Fayette resident and moderator of the event.

After the panel, a Q&A, and general fellowship will follow where fathers can share and support one another. The Dads Who Care event meets three to four times a year and is supported by Southside Support, Inc.

The event is free, but pre-registration is encouraged by clicking the link below: https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E360290&id=46

Southside Support Inc. is a Peachtree City-based nonprofit that connects families of children with special needs and individuals living with disabilities in south metro Atlanta with valuable resources in our community and also with each other.
