Dr. Michael Wilson, a beloved resident of Sharpsburg, GA, passed away on July 14, 2024 at the age of 74.

He deeply cherished his family and leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness.

Michael is survived by his devoted wife Fran and their children: Natalie Hill (Trevor), Nicole Sopp (Brian), and Nathan Wilson (Natalie). He found immense joy in his six grandsons: Maddox, Cooper, Hudson, Grant, Nolan, and Nash.

A dedicated optometrist for nearly 50 years in Fayetteville, GA, Michael formed strong bonds with his patients, whom he cared for deeply. His commitment to his profession was matched only by his compassion and empathy. Dr. Michael Wilson’s presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private family service will be held at a date to be determined.
