Americo (Rick) Minicucci passed on August 23, 2024 of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Rick was born on September 19, 1963 in Newburgh, New York. His family moved to Peachtree City in 1973.

Rick was a gifted carpenter. He worked for both commercial and residential companies and also made beautiful custom furniture.

He was married to the late Christine (Carty) Minicucci for 18 years.

Rick is the son of Marie Minicucci and the late Americo J. Minicucci. He is survived by sisters Mary A. Watts and Laura Otaki (Mitch), a  brother Sean Minicucci, stepson Stuart Harper (Kaitlyn). He was a beloved uncle and great uncle to 22 nieces & nephews. He will be greatly missed by all.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 31 at Lakeside Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. The address 7780 Ono Rd., Palmetto, Ga. 30268. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
