Each week, we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of student-athletes across local high schools. Asher Cooper
Asher Cooper, an upcoming senior, has committed to swim at St. Bonaventure University. During his junior season, he competed in 10 events at Short Course Senior State and 3 events at Short Course Winter Junior Nationals. Asher is a dedicated athlete, known for his work ethic and being a great teammate. – Coach Nicole

Vivian is a standout leader who truly understands what it takes to succeed — both on and off the water. She leads with positivity, puts in the work without hesitation, and takes responsibility for her growth. Beyond practice, she’s committed to doing the little things that make a big difference: stretching, staying on top of her nutrition, and cross-training to stay strong and ready. Her dedication sets the tone for the team, and we’re proud to recognize her this week!
Georgia Cycling Association – Fayette County Trail Rangers
Shae Dorshimer
Mountain Bike
Shae Dorshimer, an upcoming 6th grader at Whitewater Middle School, won the final mountain bike race in Rome this past weekend in the 5th grade girls division of the Inaugural season of the GA Cycling Association (GCA) Trail Rangers program. In fact, Shae won all 4 of the races riding for the Fayette Trail Rangers team. She looks forward to joining her older brothers Tanner and Trey this fall in the GCA Team MTB league where she will be riding for the Line Creek Shredders
