FAYETTEVILLE, GA – Bloom is proud to announce that the 21st Annual Bloom Ball was its most successful event to date, raising over $400,000 in support of foster children across Georgia. The remarkable generosity of donors, sponsors, and community partners made this achievement possible.

Funds raised from the event will help provide safe and stable homes, essential items such as clothing, toys, and school supplies, as well as access to life-changing support services for thousands of children across the state.

“At a time when the needs of foster children in Georgia continue to grow, the generosity shown at this year’s Bloom Ball has been nothing short of inspiring,” said Becky Davenport, CEO of Bloom. “This event represents so much more than a fundraiser—it’s about building a community that surrounds each child with the care they deserve.”

Held at the Georgia Aquarium, the Bloom Ball offered guests an extraordinary evening filled with entertainment and inspiration. Attendees enjoyed live performances by nationally recognized comedian Andrew Stanley and Nashville-based artist Elby Faser. The night also featured a special appearance by WSB-TV Chief Meteorologist Brad Nitz, who lent his continued support to Bloom’s mission for a second year in a row.

One of the most impactful moments of the evening was the journey shared by one of Bloom’s foster families, underscoring the heart of the organization’s mission.

The success of Bloom Ball reflects the commitment of a growing community that believes every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued. Through generous contributions and engagement, children in foster care throughout Georgia will continue to receive the resources and care they need to thrive.

Those who were unable to attend or wish to revisit a moment of inspiration are encouraged to view a powerful video highlighting Maddie’s journey through foster care, available on the front page of Bloom’s website at www.bloomfosters.org.

Bloom is already preparing for its upcoming fall fundraiser—a charity golf tournament hosted by Lizard Thicket on Monday, October 13.  More details will be shared soon.
