Clothes Less Travelled, a nonprofit thrift store in Peachtree City, has promoted Hope Brown to the position of executive director.

Brown has been a dedicated member of the Clothes Less Travelled Leadership Team since 2021, where she has been recognized for her exceptional management skills, personable commitment to service, and alignment with the organization’s mission of community support and involvement.

“Hope Brown not only has strong leadership and a caring heart, but she has a skill set that goes beyond expertise in one area. Her skills encompass various competencies,” said Board Chair Barbara Harrison. “Her cheerful outlook, commitment to our mission, and fresh insights are what the organization needs right now as we experience growth and expansion.”

Harrison added that Brown exhibits the core values of Clothes Less Travelled- community, leadership, and teamwork-in all that she does.

Brown succeeds former Executive Director Kimber Huff-Wilk, who did tremendous work as a spokesperson for the organization. Huff-Wilk spearheaded strategic plans and fostered a culture of respect by organizing workshops, partnership opportunities, and events that united members of the community under the shared purpose of doing good. Her impact extended beyond Clothes Less Travelled, positively influencing the nonprofit sector through her efforts. The Clothes Less Travelled community will celebrate Huff-Wilk and the team’s continued strides at a special event on June 20 at the store, located at 459 Highway 74 South, Peachtree City. Event details, including the time, will be announced soon.
