The Business Women of Fayette and Coweta (BWFC) is proud to welcome Niki Vanderslice, President and CEO of the Fayette County Development Authority (FCDA) as the guest speaker of their July meeting on Tuesday, July 22 at 5:00 p.m. The event will be held at Maguire’s Irish Pub in Senoia.

A Georgia native, Vanderslice resides in Fayette County with her husband, Ed, and their two daughters. Her dedication to sustainable growth and enhancing quality of life continues to shape Fayette County’s economic development.

Appointed to lead the FCDA in March of 2023, Vanderslice brings over twenty years of experience in strategic planning and private-public partnerships across Georgia. Her career includes leadership roles such as Executive Director of Business Development for the Technical College System of Georgia’s QuickStart Program, Senior Community Development Consultant at Georgia EMC, Director of Governmental Relations at the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, and Downtown Development Director for both Valdosta and Douglas, Georgia.

Vanderslice holds an Associate of Arts degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College-where she also serves on the Foundation Board-a B.A. in Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern State University, and a Master’s in Organizational Development and Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University. 

In addition to leading the FCDA, she serves on the Fayette Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

The BWFC is to host Vanderslice, whose commitment to her community and understanding of the area’s economic climate will be educational and thought-provoking to the attendees.
