Brad Bernstein, 47 from Peachtree City, was arrested on July 13 for solicitation of sodomy involving someone under the age of 18 at the new Publix in Sharpsburg.
According to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity at the store.
Upon arrival, authorities learned that Bernstein had paid for his groceries, entered the store’s restroom, and allegedly slipped a note under a stall to a 16-year-old. The note reportedly solicited sex and included a request to be followed on Snapchat, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.
The teen reported the incident and law enforcement reviewed security footage to identify the suspect. Bernstein was located shortly after and taken into custody during a traffic stop.
