Come out and enjoy food and entertainment for the Fayette County Republican Party fundraising event happening Aug. 22 at the Fayette Event Center in Fayetteville. This event will raise funds to support the FCRP, but it is also provides all like-minded Fayette Republicans an opportunity to network and get involved with the FCRP where the main purpose is to help elect conservative candidates at the local, state, and federal levels.
The FCRP is blessed to have their own event center with an office that is staffed year round, space for candidate forums, Get Out The Vote training, monthly meetings of the membership, and so much more. Local Republican Party chapters do not receive funding from the National or State Republican Party, so the FCRP hosts these kinds of fund raising events to help pay the rent.
Elaine Kilgore, chairman of the FCRP says, “We welcome everyone to come out, even just to meet and greet. You will have a good time, eat some great BBQ, and if you like Elvis, hear all of his hit songs provided by James Michael – Taking Care of Elvis. He is not an impersonator, but someone who sings all the classic hits in his own style”.
The event takes place on Aug 22, 6 p.m., at Fayette Events Center, 174 N. Glynn St., Fayetteville (behind Arby’s). Tickets can be purchased for $20 for FCRP members and $25 for non-members at www.MyFayetteGOP.org.
