Last week was one of those rare ones where everything found its rhythm—work, family, and personal wins all moving in sync.

From leading the conversation at the Fayette Chamber’s Business Growth Essentials event, to hosting 1 Million Cups, to launching the very first art show at The Nexus, my week was full of energy. Each of those moments offered something different—connection, creativity, collaboration—and each one reminded me why I love doing what I do.

In the middle of all that movement, I had a grounding moment: my parents came to visit. Their presence brought the kind of stillness and generosity that only family can provide. And mornings have been especially special lately, as I’ve been able to drop my daughter off at school every day. Just last week, she walked in with tears, but left with smiles. This week? No tears at all—just confidence.

I’ve also been intentional about getting back into my body. Three 20-minute runs and one foundational yoga class later, I’m sore, but in the best way possible. It’s amazing how quickly your mindset shifts—how you think about what you eat, how much water you drink, and how you approach the day—once movement is back in your routine.

At Jason Hunter Design, our team is as strong as ever, but the pipeline feels unusually quiet. Instead of worrying, we’re using this moment to double down on serving our current clients and sharpening our own skills. Laying the groundwork for what’s next.

Outside of work, I’m keeping the momentum going: I got to see Teddy Swims live on Wednesday, and am heading out to Lake Martin this weekend. Balance, after all, is part of the momentum.

So, after all of that this week, here’s what I’m realizing: Momentum isn’t about one big breakthrough. Sometimes it’s about stacking small wins in every area of life and just noticing when it all starts to hum..
