Denis Barry is the featured artist for November-December 2022, Art Initiative. He is a self-taught artist with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics. Denis has been a teacher, draftsman, engineer, statistician, and a quality director, but creating art has been a passion since 1991, and was discovered by a gallery in Columbus Ohio.  Barry’s works were part of an exhibition in Perugia, Italy during the annual Umbra Jazz Festival, as well as in other galleries and competitions. 

Barry works on paper and canvas, and also builds wood constructs sculptures, and coffee tables that have been sold to private collectors, restaurants, and corporate offices. He is working to perfect fractal images into expressionistic abstracts.

He and his wife have retired to Sun City, Georgia (Griffin).
