William Melvin Brown, 81, of Peachtree City, Georgia, passed away December 17, 2022. He was born in Newnan, Georgia, on September 18, 1941, to the late William and Margaret Brown.

Melvin is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sandra Adams Brown; children, Deb (Dan) Gable, and Keith Brown; grandson, Josh (Shelby) Gable; siblings, Ann (Frank) Boyd, and Donald Brown; great-grandson, John Gable; brothers-in-law, Bobby Davis, and Tommy Matthews; grand-dog, Jake; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.
