The Southern Crescent Chorale (SCC) has just completed its 6^th European Tour traveling to Spain and Portugal earlier this month.  The group sang for appreciative audiences at church masses, festivals, and other events while visiting Malaga, Seville, Granada, Cordoba, and Lisbon.

Always a popular choice for quality entertainment here at home, the Chorale performed the very popular “TRAINS AND BOATS AND PLANES (and CARS!)” Concert at The Ville Amphitheater in Fayetteville on May 15 to conclude their 21^st season.

SCC has a reputation for excellence and achievement in the south metro area arts community.  An auditioned community chorus, the Chorale’s mission is to enrich its communities and provide talented and interested singers an opportunity to perform a variety of challenging choral literature with high performance standards.  Chorale members hail from six different metro Atlanta counties.

Next season’s highlights will include performances at Spivey Hall and The Ville Amphitheater as well as the extremely popular Christmas Concerts at the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City.  For more information about the Southern Crescent Chorale and to hear recordings of the group, please go to www.southerncrescentchorale.org.

Auditions for next season will be held in the sanctuary of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, 175 East Lanier Ave., Fayetteville, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on the following dates:
