The Fayette Humane Society (FHS) is hosting its 7th Annual Christmas Tour of Homes in concert with Harry Norman, REALTORS from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on December 3, 2023. The tour will feature five homes in Fayette County—specifically at Alexander Ware Place and in the Whitewater, Bradford Estates, Stoney Brook and Maple Shade communities—which will open to showcase distinctive architecture and decor. In addition to participating musicians and culinary businesses, the homes will be paired with top designers to add touches of festive flair.

The homes on this year’s tour are distinctively unique, yet the holiday vision behind each one is the same: creating welcoming environments that display the things the homeowners love and value. Among the homes are a refined countryside retreat with a spilling effect of natural elements; a light and airy spread rooted in Nordic craftsmanship and textile traditions; a sprawling California-styled oasis with a secret garden; a flight-infused Asian haven overlooking Lake Kedron, and a Craftsman-inspired abode with a modern coastal vibe.

“Last year we netted around $21,000 to build a better future for the needy animals within our community, and we’re looking forward to another good turnout,” says Lucy Hess, event chair.

As always, 100% of the proceeds from the tour will be used to fund the FHS spay and neuter program and to pay for the vaccinations and medical treatments of the animals in its care. Incorporated in 1973, the FHS is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. It is also a recipient of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 Non-Profit of the Year Award and Peachtree City’s 2022 Best of Humane Societies Award.

Presale tickets are available for $40.00 by paying online at fayettehumane.org/tour-of-homes, and then picking up your tickets at Harry Norman, REALTORS, Suite 110, 665 Highway 74 South, and at The Nest, 310 City Circle, The Avenue Peachtree City.
