Pastor David L. Chancey, The Citizen columnist, recently released his third book, Marvelous Faith: Pursuing the Faith that Makes Jesus Marvel. In Marvelous Faith, Chancey takes the Luke 7 narrative of Jesus’ encounter with the Centurion to launch an overview of how Jesus addressed faith during His ministry. Sometimes Jesus commended faith. Other times Jesus called out a lack of faith. At all times, Jesus challenged persons to exercise and grow their faith.

Chancey takes the reader on a thirty-day journey to a new level of faith in God, a faith that makes Jesus marvel, using Biblical examination, spiritual insight, and memorable stories. Each of the thirty chapters contains a scripture passage, a challenge to pursue marvelous faith, and a call to action.
