Fayette County Administrator Steve Rapson has a new 4-year contract, and with a 2.5 percent wage increase that brings his salary to $191,000.
Commissioners after executive session at the Feb. 14 meeting voting to retain him with another 4-year contract.
The move by commissioners boosted his salary to $191,100.67, an increase of 2.5 percent over his current pay.
Rapson has served as county administrator since 2014 and had been operating under a 4-year contract. That contract was set to expire in December.
