Fayetteville will be holding interactive town hall meetings in October to keep citizens aware of various aspects of life in their city.

The meetings will be held on Oct. 9, 10, 12 and 16 at different locations around town.

City Manager Ray Gibson said he and other city leaders, including elected officials, will present updated community information and answer questions from the public. Light refreshments will be served, and door prize drawings will be held at each town hall event.

“As we look at Fayetteville’s future and make these important decisions to do with downtown redevelopment, economic development, crime prevention strategies and other quality-of-life issues, we need the public’s input,” said Gibson. “Our focus here at City Hall is serving our residents, whether they’re families living in our neighborhoods, employees of our many businesses or members of our civic groups. These are the people we want to join us at one of our upcoming town hall meetings.”
