Mr. Alvin Turner of Batesville, Ga. passed away on April 27, 2013.

Mr. Turner is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra Latham Turner; sons, Joel Turner and his wife, Rocki of Orlando, Fla.; Jerry Turner and his wife, Tracy of Hendersonville, Tenn.; sister, Frances Dobbs of Canton, Ga.; brothers, Robert Turner of Fairburn; James Turner and his wife, Lea of Hamilton, Ga.; Dean Turner of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Alex, Anna, and Audrey Turner.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Lankford officiating.
