Paul (Larry) and Frances Meaders celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary on July 25th, 2013.

Larry and Frances grew up in the Capital View/Sylvan Hills area of Atlanta. They married on July 25, 1948 at the Capital View Methodist Church in Atlanta. They lived and raised their four children in the Atlanta area until they moved to Peachtree City in 1972.

Larry was an employee of Delta Airlines until he retired in 1987. Frances became the first full-time City Clerk of Peachtree City and was later appointed Director of Administrative Services. She retired in 1995 after 23 years.

Larry enjoys spending time in his workshop perfecting his many projects. Frances was the first female member of the Peachtree City Rotary Club and continues her service to the club. Both enjoy spending time with their children: Paula (Steve) Hale of Senoia, David of Marietta, Carol (Scott) Allen of Lawrenceville, and Thomas of Orlando. They have three grandchildren: Jake (Erin) Allen, Cody Allen, and Elizabeth Hale.
