Cynthia Davis “Cindy” Earles, age 77, of Pine Mountain, passed away on August 3, 2025. She was born on July 12, 1948 to the late Edward and Jeanette Davis in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her, late husband, Larry McElwaney; as well as her grandparents.

Cindy is survived by husband, Steve Earles of Pine Mountain, Ga; sons, Mark McElwaney of Senoia, Ga. and Christopher McElwaney, of Pine Mountain, Ga.; stepson, Nicholas Earles, of Dalhart, Tx.; sisters, Ellen Davis, of Tyrone, Ga., Suzanne Tripp in Newnan, Ga.; brother, Harrell Davis, of Brooks, Ga.; granddaughters, Taylor Cambron Earles Kieu( Toan), and Claudia Earles, Ansley Tehrani; grandson, Will McElwaney; great-grandson, Rowan Kieu; nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends of Fayetteville, Tyrone, LaGrange, and the Pine Mountain area.

Cindy was raised in Fayetteville, Georgia, and graduated from Fayette County High School and Shorter College. She went on to enjoy a 30-year career with Delta Airlines. Deeply rooted in her faith, Cindy participated in several local Bible studies and was a longtime Sunday School teacher for adults with special needs at Flat Creek Baptist Church. She also served as a preschool worker at Rosemont, supported orphaned children in Africa, and was a self-taught Master Gardener. Known for her delicious Southern cooking and gracious hospitality, Cindy embodied the essence of a true Southern lady—devoted, gentle yet strong. She was a faithful wife, loving mother, cherished sister, proud grandmother and great-grandmother, caring aunt and cousin, and a devoted follower of Jesus.

A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Rosemont Baptist Church beginning at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held in the Fellowship Hall Building from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the church. A reception will be held in the Worship Center following the service. Planted flowers are accepted or donations can be made in memory of Cindy Earles to the Rosemont Baptist Church Mission Trip Scholarship, 3794 Hamilton Road, LaGrange, GA 30241.

The family will receive friends at the family home throughout the week. They will be gathering at, 1514 Piedmont Road, in the Piedmont Community in Pine Mountain, Ga.
