John Joseph Agramonte, 83, of Sharpsburg, Ga. passed away December 8, 2014 at his Coweta County home. Mr. Agramonte was born on December 17, 1930 in New York City, N.Y. to Mercedes and Bolivar Agramonte.

He attended Stuyvesant High School in N.Y. He continued his education at Georgia Institution of Technology graduating in 1952 with a degree in Industrial Management. He enjoyed managing his business Fayette Cleaning Service; spending time with his family and his treasured dog PePe.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Teresa Lori Agramonte.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Virginia Agramonte; daughter, Wendy Agramonte Foskey (David); granddaughter, Holly Adams (Jim); grandson, Michael Terry (Liza); great-granchildren, Mason, Addison, Caroline, and Avery; sister, Georgia Agramonte DeMeza (Harry) and children Mari and Karen; extended family; and numerous friends.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, Ga at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 with Pastor Craig Walden officiating.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Interment will be at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Ga at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
