The Peachtree City Library will be closed Jan. 16 through Jan. 19 for a major upgrade to the PINES integrated library system – the electronic lending network that allows users to borrow books from nearly 300 libraries in 140 counties around the state.

Library users will not be able to access their library accounts online during this time period, and the Library staff asks users to keep checked out materials during the closure. No fines will accrue on the dates the library is closed.

The PINES, or Public Information Network for Electronic Services, is slated to be up and running at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20. The Peachtree City Library will open for normal business that day at 10 a.m.
