Whitewater High School soccer player Kyle Robbins has been named the January Soccer Player of the Month by US Youth Soccer, the largest member of the United States Soccer Federation, the governing body for soccer in the United States.

The group selects both a male and female player each month who represent a balance of athletic achievement, sportsmanship and citizenship.

Robbins plays club soccer for AFC Lightning, is a member of the US Youth Soccer ODP Region III team, and led his high school varsity team in scoring as a freshman.

He also excels in the classroom earning a 4.0 GPA with straight A’s in several Advanced Placement classes. He is an honor roll student and member of the BETA Club. Robbins participates on the school’s Academic Team and Science Olympiad Team.
