Suzanne Caldwell is the Newnan Coweta Art Association artist of the month for March.

Caldwell enjoys working in oils and pastels and has taken lessons from Helen Hayes and Debra Kidwell. She prefers working from photos taken around town or on travels and her favorite pictures are birds, barns, chickens and landscapes.

She also enjoys gardening and is a member of Old Town Garden Club of Sharpsburg. Caldwell lives in Sharpsburg on a hobby farm with her husband, Jerry, their dachshund, Charley, and her chickens

She is a member of the Newnan Coweta Art Association (NCAA) where she has served as an officer and on the Board of Directors.  Caldwell’s art has been shown at the Newnan Courthouse Spring show, the June Performing arts show, and at the NCAA Christmas Show at the fairgrounds.

Her art work can be found in homes in Atlanta, Ohio and North Carolina.

NCAA meets the third Thursday each month (from September through May) at the Harriet Alexander Art Center on Hospital Road in Newnan at 7 p.m. Visitors and new members are welcome.
