Piedmont Fayette Hospital invites everyone to grab walking shoes and come “walk and talk” with a Piedmont doctor on Saturday, April 25.

Walk from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Patriot Park, 1100-1102 Redwine Road, Fayetteville, and get some exercise while talking with a doctor about health topics.

The April “Walk with a Doc” will be led by Thippeswamy Murthy, M.D., cardiologist, and Geetha Rao, M.D., radiation oncologist.

During the event, the doctors will take a few minutes to talk about a health topic and participants can ask questions for the remainder of the session (about 40 minutes).

Registration is required. Participants will receive their choice of a t-shirt or a water bottle.

Walk with a Doc has been very well received by our community,” said Debbie Britt, executive director, community and public relations at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. “The participants enjoy talking to the doctors in a casual setting while getting outside for some exercise.”
