FCHS students honored by Post 105

Fayette County High School recently had its Class of 2015 Awards Ceremony and two graduating seniors were recognized by the Fayette County Post 105 with the American Legion School Awards.

Faith Smith and Tyler Brown were selected by a faculty panel for their qualities of leadership, courage, honor, scholarship, service and patriotism. They received their awards from and were pictured with Dave Niebes and Larry Newsome of Post 105.

Post 105 is a service organization of military veterans and they meet the second Monday of the month at the Log Cabin in Fayetteville.
