The 8u Tyrone All-Stars head to Gulf Shores, Ala., the week of July 13-18 to play in the Fast Pitch Softball World Series.

The local team from Tyrone has complied a 32-2 record and is ranked #1 in the nation in the rec all-star division.

The team won its last five tournaments including the Georgia state championship the weekend of June 27-28.
