For All Saints’ USO ministry

All Saints Anglican Church recently received a generous donation to its USO ministry from the Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Georgia Properties. Mike McCormack, an All Saints member and also part of the Berkshire Hathaway Georgia Properties Veteran’s group, had asked BHHS Realtors and parish members to support the soldier care ministry.  An overwhelming response was received with enough supplies to fill three SUVs. All Saints has supported the USO at Hartfield-Jackson airport since 2007. The USO has been supporting troops and their families since WWII and serves several hundred troops each day, seven days a week at the airport. The church’s ministry, headed by retired Col. Fred Smith, supports the USO by providing snacks, paper products, phone cards and other items soldiers can use while transitioning through the airport.
