Ladies on Spokes, a local bicycle group, has scheduled its annual Spring Spin Off to attract potential new members.

It is scheduled for Saturday, April 16, at 9:30 a.m. at Heritage Christian Church, 2130 Redwine Road in Fayetteville.

There will be a short introduction to the club and then some planned safe routes to ride. All participants are encouraged to bring their bikes and helmets.

According to its website Ladies on Spokes is “a nonprofit Christian women’s club that was formed to promote the sport of cycling in the Coweta/Fayette area. We love cycling and want to share our enthusiasm and friendship with other ladies in the community. Our mission is to enrich the lives of women by uniting them together to support one another with love and acceptance, encouraging each other to become physically fit, sharing the love of Christ with all those around us, and meeting the needs of others whenever possible.
