Coweta County Solicitor and Newnan Rotarian Sandy Wisenbaker will appear Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Senoia Coffee and Cafe, 1 Main Street, to talk about the Pedal for Pets RAAM team, of which she is a member.
The RAAM team consisted of a group of eight local women who, in June, pedaled across the United States in the RAAM (Race Across America), which started in Oceanside, Calif. The trip spanned 3,000 miles, climbed 175,000 feet, crossed 12 states and ended in Annapolis, Md.
After expenses, the funds raised from this journey benefits spay and neuter programs.
