Third-grade students at Peachtree City Elementary celebrated the culmination of their study of Greek architecture and government with a Greek Day event.

Students dressed in togas, sampled Greek cuisine, and even exercised their democratic rights by voting on a new law for their classrooms.

Third-graders study the roots of American democracy as it stems from Greek culture and have enjoyed learning about elements of Greek architecture that are present in important government buildings in the United States.
