The Bariatric Informational Seminar is the first and required step in the bariatric program. The seminar, open to ages 18 and up, will discuss statistics and treatment of obesity; risks, benefits, and outcomes of weight reduction surgeries performed; and program and insurance requirements.
Seminars are held on the third Saturday of the month. The next class is Saturday, Jan. 21, 9:30-11:30 a.m. The class, which is free, takes place in Conference Room C of the Piedmont Fayette Hospital’s 1279 Building. Bring your insurance card.
