Katie Juanita Howard Turner, age 87, of College Park/Riverdale, GA, passed away on April 8, 2011.

Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mrs. Turner is preceded in death by her husband Cecil M. Turner; parents Jessie and Ollie Howard; two sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by three children, H. Wayne (Cheryl) Turner of Gallatin, TN, C. Darrell (Nancy) Turner of Fayetteville, GA, and Judy (Tommy) Heaton of McDonough, GA; grandchildren, Kim Turner (Clay) Venable, Wesley (Beth) Turner, Jamie Turner (Lee) Sgubin, Katie Turner, Chris Brady, Michael Brady, and Jeffery Heaton; seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Burial will follow at College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
