Mrs. Thelma Haley Caldwell, 83, of Fayetteville, died May 9, 2011.

Mrs. Caldwell is preceded in death by her son Johnny Caldwell.

She is survived by her husband Charles F. Caldwell; daughter Sheila Tyson of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Tracy Ray and her husband Chandler of Newnan, Scott Tyson and his wife Nicole of Fayetteville, Charles F. Caldwell and his wife Diana of Senoia and Jamie Purcell and her husband Cliff of Fayetteville; eleven great-grandchildren, Harrison, Nathan, Dylan, Ryan, Camron, Braden, Logan, Mason, Ethan, Nolan and Tristan; sister Betty J. Ward of Breman; sister-in-law Martha Caldwell of Gainesville; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Dr. Jerry Cross officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
