Ray Oliver Coogler, 65, of Sharpsburg, passed away on September 1, 2011.

Mr. Coogler proudly served in the US Army and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from Atlanta Dairies as a milk distributor.

He is preceded in death by his father Oliver Coogler.

He is survived by his children, Jay (Serena) Coogler of Senoia, Jamie (Ashley) Coogler of Newnan, Stephanie (Bryan) Andrews of McDonough and Trent (Cicely) Foster of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Carlee Andrews of McDonough, Brayden Foster and Bailee Foster of Fayetteville; mother Mary R. Coogler of Fayetteville; sister Ann (Ray) Mitchell of Fayetteville; nieces and nephews; cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Rev. Dennis Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 3, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
