Sarah Louise Threadgill, 87, Fayetteville, died Feb. 4, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and three sisters. She was an active member of Fayette Presbyterian Church and a founder of the “Memorial Garden” at the church. Services were at the Fayette Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Cliff Haddox officiating. Interment was at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Lt. Commander, retired, Carl G. Threadgill, Fayetteville; a son, Dr. J. M. “Mike” and Barbara Threadgill Sr., Newnan; a daughter, N. Dianne and John Pinson, Griffin; grandchildren, James M. an Julie Threadgill Jr., Rabbit Hash, Ky., Christine and Trevor Pircsuk, Palmetto, Deborah ad Kyle Pearson Rock  Hill, S. C ., Elizabeth Ann Holliday, Palmetto, Audrey Dianne Holliday, Haralson, and S/Sgt. John Barclay and Angel Holliday, Lakeland, Ga.; and seven great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
