Carl Wesley Adams, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away August 4, 2017.

Carl was born on September 14, 1934 in Woodstock, Ga. to Ernest Wesley and Mae Lois Spinx Adams. He retired from General Motors after 31 years of service. He was also a retired Minister of the Gospel at Rebekah Baptist Church in Palmetto.

Carl is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bobbie Adams; son, David Adams; daughters, Donna (Dean) Broderick, Robin (Bryan) Maggi, and Julie (Ken) Boze; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe (Connie) Adams and Gary (Revella) Adams; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Mr. Bryan Maggie, Pastor Steve Phillips, and Mr. Ed Ryan officiated. Burial followed at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family received friends from 1- 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
