Monse Morgan of McIntosh was not only named to the Georgia Divarsity lacrosse team and also selected as the Georgia Diversity Lacrosse Female Student Athlete of the Year.

Morgan was a junior captain of the McIntosh girls varsity lacrosse team in 2018 and was also a GACA Georgia Lacrosse first-team all-state selection as well as an All-Fayette County first-team selection.

“She’s a great lacrosse player but more impressive is her character and servant’s attitude towards others. In my 20 seasons of coaching college and high school girls lacrosse, she’s the best leader I’ve ever had the pleasure of coaching,” said McIntosh girls lacrosse coach Ginny Hughes. “She sincerely ‘walks the talk’ of everything positive that you’d ever like to see in a young lady. She performs more community service than 10 typical college-bound honors kids together, while also working a job and playing a varsity sport.”
